As some of you know, Shentel recently upgraded its internet service to 1.2 Gbps. Shentel sent us letters that said that our modem and router needed to be replaced. 

NVD is the main source of news for Strasburg. Prior to the upgrade and replacement of our modem and router, NVD's Strasburg news articles would show up in local news on the internet. Much like MSN, I could access these news articles and share them with you on this blog. After Shentel's upgrade and replacement of our modem and router, I can no longer access NVD articles and share them with you.

Family issues take precedent. Because of family health issues I no longer have the time nor the inclination to subscribe to NVD.

Thank you, NVD, for your excellent reporting of Strasburg news and issues. I sincerely wish you future success.
